Innocent nudes, lovingly and craftily cut and pasted into a scrapbook with one of the friendliest gay bookmarks ever made. It’s clear to see that the artist put huge effort and lots of time into this homage. In the early eighties discriminating against gays and lesbians was not yet against the law in France, therefore the creator of this book might have been very careful in who he told about it. From the mid eighties things really improved for the French LGBTQ community and today the majority of the country’s population supports same-sex marriage and gays and lesbians adopting children.
