Cruise ships are microcosms, allowing people to take a break from their lives and focus on only two things: food and entertainment. These Dutch cruise ship guests took entertainment matters into their own hands and set up a theatre production for their fellow guests. One of the partakers devotedly curated this photo album to commemorate the effort. The album not only features pictures of the performance but includes the synopsis that was written and hand-illustrated on board. It tells us that in the play called ‘The Boat Show’, a rich industrialist takes his daughter on a cruise to set her up with a more suitable suitor than her boyfriend. A rocky love-story on waves.
