CLOTH SAMPLES WITH PRINTS

ITALY EA/IT/0039

Several cotton cloth samples stamped with Italian writing, detailing the origin, type or grammage of the fabric. One sample includes dowlas, a plain cloth made in different weight, usually intend for heavier duty usage, such as aprons or overalls. Finer version of the fabric could be used for work shirts or pillow-cases. Though somewhat yellowed, none have frayed terribly. One of the samples was even stepped on. However, that might only be proof of its strong quality.
