Perhaps an unlucky pedestrian on one of Amsterdam’s busy streets, or a proud catch in one of the city’s many canals or parks, this amphibian is put on proud display. Though hard to tell from its flattened belly and its decayed skin, there is a slight webbing to its right hind foot, meaning this is, in fact, a frog and not a toad.
