Judging by the cover, where in the world did the people inside this album go on holiday? Exotic, colourful shells hint to somewhere with an abundance of sunshine and clear blue water. Incorrect. As they have hand-written themselves on the cover, this album contains holiday snaps from a family trip to ‘Steinhude a. Meer’, Germany. The ironic thing is that these kinds of shells are not to be found at Lake Steinhude or the surrounding islands in Lower Saxony. Although humorous, it’s not so surprising; we rarely compile our holiday albums while on the holiday itself, album compilation is a post vacation activity.
