Plan B may refer to a doom scenario if Plan A fails, but more likely the inscription on this American M67 hand grenade is a reference to the 6.5 oz or 180 grams of composition B explosive this device contains. Composition B, commonly known as ‘Comp B’, consists of a mixture of RDX and TNT and is the main explosive filling in rockets, landmines and hand grenades, just like the M67. This grenade weighs 14 oz (400 g) and has a safety clip to prevent the safety pin on the grenade from being pulled accidentally. We can only hope Plan B will never turn into Plan Boom.
