In this frame we remember the War of the Polish Succession which took place between 1733 and 1735. However, this image was printed in the 1920s and has been crudely hand coloured, bringing the sword-wielding horseman leaping off the page into the arms of the battle. We can place the print to this specific war due to the remembrance plaque that’s been glued on to the image in the upper right corner, dated to 1734.
