This unusual lamp is a classic example of a hunting trophy from Czechia. In some hunting regions of Europe it is custom practice to create trophies from the bodies of hunted animals. Hunters create a souvenir from the chase; much like a leopard skin rug or a mounted set of horns, except that this trophy-lamp was most likely created from the remnants of a deer which would have been killed for its meat and not exclusively as a trophy.
