After the disappearance of letterpress printing, many type case drawers have become repurposed as wall decorations. Their many uniform compartments make them ideal to be used as a kind of showcase or cabinet for curiosities; people filled them with all kinds of collections and objects. In this instance, the type case has been turned in to a photo gallery, with many portraits printed to the exact size of the compartments. Most of the images are of women, but if you look closely you’ll spot a few friends and even one shot of a goalkeeper diving for a ball.
