MAN IN A WHEELCHAIR BOWLING
To the untrained eye, this might look like a man in a wheelchair bowling. It is not. This is a man in a wheelchair playing Irish road bowling, indoor. Road bowling is an Irish sport in which each player tries to throw a ball along a predetermined course of country roads. The ball is smaller than a regular bowling ball and does not have holes for your fingers. What makes this image extra confusing, is that the player is not out on the road. Rather, he appears to be inside something that could be a regular bowling alley. That is curious, because wouldn’t it be way easier to move a wheelchair onto a road than into a bowling hall?
