From the ‘Itineraire du Voyage’ found in this scrapbook we can discern that this handmade album was created by a family from Liege, Belgium and documents their extensive round trip exploring various spots in Belgium and France. In Paris they visit multiple landmarks, there’s even a whole page just to introduce the Louvre Museum and some of the artworks they see there. The maker/s are quite accomplished draughtspeople themselves as can be seen from the pages complete with drawings.
