Although we can clearly place this sign from Hungary owing to the language, isn’t it ironic that it’s almost always a German shepherd that represents ‘dog’ on ‘Beware of the Dog’ signs across the whole of Europe. This is a rather missed opportunity as every European country has their own national dog breeds, and although we might not choose for a patriotic pooch ourselves, it sure would be a cute way to observe which country you’re in. Plus isn’t it cruel that the German shepherd gets stereotyped as the most defensive dog in history?
