Seeing a creature as fussy and agile as a fish petrified in a block of plexiglass has something sad to it. Little did this sardine know it would not spend the last of its days swimming up or down a stream but spend a way longer time than his life was long standing still, preventing the movement of the objects in its surroundings. It seems a rather cruel fate, but for sure a practical one.
