Go to any good fabric and haberdashery store and you’ll find stacks of these plastic tubes in different sizes, stored horizontally in shelving units. Each tube filled with the same type of button, and attached to the lid an example of what lies within. However, these button tubes collected in Belgium probably belonged to an individual tailor; someone who created and repaired suits judging by the muted colours and sizes of the buttons themselves.
