A disturbing collection of drawings and writings from a young pyromaniac in the time when one of Belgium’s worst serial killers in history, Marc Dutroux, was actively abusing and killing children. The country was in shock, which may have been the reason this clear call for intervention in the shape of a scrapbook was missed. There is a very strong relationship between firesetting and antisocial behavior which requires serious therapy. Pyromania is a pathological desire to set fires which almost always does not simply go away, so we really hope this child received the help they needed.
