Novelty drinking flasks are popular in Spain as kitschy souvenirs for tourists. Yet these two don’t quite follow the traditional designs—think matador, classical guitar, flamenco dancer—that you’ll find elsewhere. In 1982 Spain hosted the FIFA World Cup so this might provide an origin for our 80s themed football flasks. It puts a smile on your face to think that this ball and boot might’ve been paired together as a way of preparing mixed drinks. Unfortunately, Spain didn’t make it to the knockout stage. Rum and Coke anyone?
