Mesker Furniture and De Bruin. Two ashtrays formed as sofa chairs. Mesker Furniture was a trusted place in The Hague where one could buy furniture pre-World War II. It was also a place where you could store your furniture before going to the East Indies as the area was called back then. De Bruin was a producer of furniture in Reusel, at the border with Belgium. Smoking was in and so the chair sofa ashtray was born.
